How to Wash Rice
Wash rice 30-60 minutes before cooking. Place the rice in a bowl, cover with water, stir lightly to wash away dirt and bran, quickly drain. Add fresh water, gently stir the rice, and drain. Repeat the process until the water becomes clear. Leave the rice in the clear water for 30-60 minutes to absorb moisture before cooking.
