How to Prepare Liver
Liver is high-protein, low-fat and rich in vitamins. Properly drawing out the blood and eliminating odors tenderizes liver and makes it tastier. To prepare chicken livers, remove any blood clots and immerse in cold water for about 2 to 3 hours to draw out the blood. To efficiently eliminate the smell of chicken livers, immerse in milk for 2 to 3 hours.
